Nafanta Foundation CHEEPP Charity UK has donated 9 hospital beds, mattresses and other vital medical items to Essau District hospital. With a catchment area of more than 60 thousand inhabitants, this hospital serves as the main referral centre in the North Bank Region of The Gambia.
As one of the oldest health centers in the country built in 1948, our Charity saw the need to uplift this hospital in order to serve the surrounding areas.
In 2018, Nafanta Foundation initially donated boxes of medical items which includes diabetic kits, incontinence pants, blood pressure machine to mention few. Our Charity’s goal is to ensure that health care is accessible to all regardless of one’s social status.
